Forbedr Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Forbedr, an endurance-coaching service operated by Martin Kotouč Šourek, a self-employed sole trader (OSVČ) registered in the Czech Republic, Gen. Peřiny 1292/4, 393 01 Hustopeče, Czech Republic ("we", "us", "Forbedr"). By using Forbedr you agree to these Terms. See our Privacy Policy (forbedr.com/privacy) for how we handle your data.

What Forbedr is

Forbedr is a "bring your own AI" endurance-coaching product. You connect your own AI assistant (e.g. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, or any other client that supports MCP) to our server; that AI reads your training data and coaching profile through Forbedr's tools and carries the coaching conversation with you. Forbedr does not run or control that AI — your chosen AI provider receives the training and coaching data needed to answer your requests, and that provider's own terms and privacy policy govern what happens to it once it reaches them. Forbedr and any output generated by your connected AI through Forbedr does not constitute professional coaching, medical advice, or a personalised training prescription.

Forbedr depends on intervals.icu as its training-data source. We're not responsible for intervals.icu outages, API changes, or sync failures on intervals.icu's side, though we'll do our best to keep Forbedr working smoothly with it.

Not medical advice

Forbedr is a training-guidance tool, not a medical device and not a substitute for a doctor, physiotherapist, or human coach. Talk to a medical professional before starting or changing a training routine, especially if you have a pre-existing condition or risk factors. AI-generated content may contain errors or be inappropriate for your specific situation — use your own judgment, and stop and seek medical attention if you experience pain, chest pain, or other concerning symptoms during training.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your account credentials and any connected third-party credentials (e.g. your intervals.icu API key) secure, and for the accuracy of the training/profile information you provide. Don't share your account, resell access, or attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.

Subscriptions and billing

Forbedr offers monthly, quarterly, and yearly plans at the prices shown on forbedr.com/pricing. Paid plans auto-renew for the same period unless you cancel before the renewal date; cancelling stops future renewals but we don't refund the unused portion of a period you've already paid for. If you're an EU/EEA consumer, you have a statutory 14-day withdrawal right on your first purchase under Directive 2011/83/EU — contact us within 14 days of that purchase for a full refund, no questions asked; after that window, the no-refund rule above applies, at our discretion we may still make an exception for genuine hardship or minimal use.

Cancellation and deletion

You can stop using Forbedr and request account deletion at any time by contacting us at [email protected] — this removes your training data, coaching profile, and credentials from our systems, per our Privacy Policy. We don't yet have a self-service delete button; that's a known gap, and this email path works today.

Availability

Forbedr is provided "as is" and "as available." We're a small, self-hosted operation — we don't promise uninterrupted uptime or a specific service level, though we take reasonable steps to keep the service running and your data safe.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of Forbedr is limited to the greater of €100 or the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — except where the law doesn't allow limiting liability (e.g. death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or fraud), which we never limit.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms, fraudulent payment, or abuse. Where practical, we'll tell you why. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by termination.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic. If you're an EU/EEA consumer, nothing here takes away your right to bring a claim in the courts of your own country of residence under mandatory consumer-protection law.

Changes to these Terms

We'll update the effective date above and note material changes if these Terms change.
